Partnership for Families, Children and Adults’ CORE membership network is teaming up with the Crown Automotive Group to host a scenic charity car rally on Sunday, Nov. 23, from 2–5 p.m. The event, sponsored by Crown Subaru, Crown Chattanooga CDJR and Crown Cleveland CDJR, will begin in the Food City parking lot at 703 Signal Mountain Road in Chattanooga. Proceeds from the rally will benefit Partnership for Families, Children and Adults, which has supported vulnerable individuals and families in the Chattanooga region for nearly 150 years.

“This event is all about community connection,” said Keith Aviles, General Manager at Crown Subaru. “We want to create something fun and unique that brings people together, showcases the beauty of our area, and gives back to a great local cause. Crown is proud to support organizations like Partnership that make a meaningful impact in our community.”

This family-friendly rally costs $40 per car and will take participants on a picturesque route through the Chattanooga and North Hamilton County area, including Sale Creek and Mowbray Mountain, before returning to the starting point. Unlike traditional rally races, this event is a Time Speed Distance (TSD) rally, which tests timing and accuracy rather than speed. Each team will receive a route book with detailed driving instructions and target times for each leg of the journey. The goal: complete the course as close to the designated times as possible. Points are added for being early, late, or off-course — and the teams with the three lowest scores will win prizes.

Participants will use the Richta rally app system, created by Rich Bereta, which uses GPS technology to track participants during TSD rallies. Bereta has generously allowed event organizers to use the Competitor app at no cost. The app is available for download on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The event is already listed in the app under “Chattanooga Subaru.” Once teams sign up, they will receive a password and detailed instructions for using the app during the rally.

To ensure participants are prepared, attendance at one of Crown’s virtual training sessions is required before the rally. These sessions will walk participants through the rally rules, app setup, and event logistics:
