Helping Children Impacted by Violence & Trauma

Healing, Mentorship, and Growth for Youth Impacted by Trauma

We provide trauma-informed mentoring, structured educational activities, and life skills development for youth ages 7–17 who have experienced trauma. Our program helps participants strengthen emotional regulation, improve peer relationships, and build core skills for long-term stability.

Youth engage in year-round activities that focus on leadership, communication, teamwork, and personal development. Each session is designed to support healthy social-emotional growth in a safe, consistent environment.

We partner with schools, child welfare agencies, and youth-serving organizations to identify eligible participants and provide ongoing, coordinated support.

HOPE Initiative

We offer year-round trauma-informed support for youth and caregivers focused on emotional growth and skill building. Youth take part in monthly activities that promote teamwork, regulation, and goal setting. Mentors provide guidance and encouragement. Families engage in quarterly Caregiver and Me events to strengthen relationships. This consistent support model builds resilience, fosters stability, and helps both youth and caregivers navigate challenges together throughout the year.

Camp HOPE

Each summer, youth impacted by trauma attend Camp HOPE in partnership with YMCA Camp Ocoee and Camp HOPE America. The program offers a structured, trauma-informed experience focused on confidence, self-awareness, and emotional growth. Youth participate in outdoor challenges, group activities, and guided reflection. The camp environment encourages peer connection, builds resilience, and helps youth strengthen skills that support long-term mental health and personal development.
