Since 1877, Partnership for Families, Children and Adults has served communities across Southeast Tennessee and North Georgia as a trusted nonprofit provider of essential human services. For nearly 150 years, we have helped individuals and families navigate crisis, build stability, and achieve long-term well-being.

Founded as the Ladies Aid Society, our work began by offering housing to unmarried pregnant women. As needs evolved, we responded—launching Chattanooga’s first Family Counseling Center, opening the region’s only Domestic Violence Shelter and 24/7 Crisis Hotline, establishing Deaf Services, and becoming the area’s designated Rape Crisis Center.

Today, we continue to adapt to the changing needs of our region, delivering a continuum of care that includes victim support, stability services, elder support, and Deaf and hard-of-hearing programs—all designed to strengthen lives across generations.
