Position: Shelter House Manager – Swing Shift
Saturday and Sunday – 8 am – 3:30 pm
Monday and Tuesday – midnight – 10 am

Reports to: Case Management Program Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Lead House Manager, this position is responsible for providing direct support and services to the shelter; after hour intake; conflict resolution; responding to hotline calls; sexual assault advocacy and general cleaning as assigned. This position also completes data entry and serves as back up resource for crisis workers at the front desk. Responsible to ensure safety of clients and basic duties related to client care. House manager’s main goal is to ensure a healthy and positive shelter environment through life skills opportunities, community building activities etc. 

Education/Experience: Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent with 3-5 years of relevant experience in a social services field preferred. Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus.

Salary: Grade 160 - $14.00/hour

Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Crisis Program Manager, the Crisis House Manager coordinates and applies cross-sectional skills and responsibilities of crisis worker and house management duties. This coordinated approach ensures that comprehensive after-hours services are shared and delivered appropriately between the respective program areas and team members in accordance with domestic violence and sexual assault policies and procedures.  The goal is to effectively maintain a safe, healthy environment of 24/7 consistent coverage with limited staffing. 

The Crisis House Manager ensures workflow, communication, coordination, and backup duties between crisis and house management through combined responsibilities.

Education/Experience: An Associate’s degree preferred with 2-3 years’ work experience in a customer service or social services related field.   

Salary: Grade 160 - $15.50/hour
