Position: Sexual Assault Advocate & Case Manager–Victim Services

Reports to: Rape Crisis Center Program Manager

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Rape Crisis Center Program Manager, provides direct services to victims of sexual assault and/or friends and family members of victims and community outreach regarding sexual assault and access to services available. The Advocate performs all related activities including: 1) assessment, 2) providing information and referral, 3) hotline counseling, crisis intervention; and crisis counseling 4) linking with appropriate agency and community resources, 5) advocating on the victim’s behalf (i.e. court advocacy), and 7) public awareness and outreach activities.

Education: A Baccalaureate degree in human service from an accredited college or university or in a related field such as psychology, sociology or other human and behavioral courses.

Experience: One year of satisfactory work experience in human services field.

Position: Rape Crisis Center Program Manager – Victim Support Services

Reports to: Program Director

Job Summary: Under general supervision of the Victim Support Services Program Director (PD), the RCC Program Manager (RPM) oversees the daily operations of the Rape Crisis Center and Crisis Services.

Rape Crisis Center (RCC): ensures seamless services to victims of sexual assault and/or friends and family members of victims. 

Crisis Services: oversees the centralized coordinated entry, count, and dissemination of all VSS referrals (hotline, Lethality Assessment Program-LAP, and Limited Direct Services-LDS) through the crisis call center and information hub.

The RPM supervises RCC (includes coordination of Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners-SANEs) and Crisis Center employees and interns with crisis and advocacy work. The RPM will serve as a liaison to the community, provide internal and external training, and coordinate with other VSS Program Managers to assist with other management functions.    

This position will ensure trauma informed services and compliance and implementation of Council on Accreditation (COA), National Association of Social Workers (NASW) case management standards and Funder/Governmental regulations for all VSS program.

Education / Experience: A Master’s Degree  in social work or related field  with three to five years’ experience in a responsible administrative, supervisory or consultant capacity in a human services agency.

Salary: Exempt, Grade 190, Range $44k - $46k
