Position: Crisis Worker – SUB (as needed)

Reports to: Lead Crisis Worker

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Lead Crisis Worker, this position responds to after hours crisis calls and makes referrals for immediate services for victims of domestic violence sexual assault, sexual assault, elder abuse, intimate partner violence and stalking.  The CW provides after hours triaging and provides coverage for the front desk after hours.  The position assists after hour’s first responders through LAP and completes intake on emergency LAP admission. The CW provides customer service at the front desk for residents and visitors/volunteers in the building.  The CW monitors security screens document any incidents in the log and ensures anyone entering the building has been cleared to enter.  The CW provides assessment, crisis counseling, and referral; enters client data into Osnium and provides support to the house manager in emergency situations and notifies the appropriate staff on call when necessary.   They assist the House manager with duties related to maintaining safe, clean and healthy environment.

Education / Experience:  An Associate’s degree preferred with 2-3 years’ work experience in a customer service or social services related field.  Bilingual a plus.   

Salary:  Non-Exempt, Grade 150, $14.00/hour

Position: DCS Liaison – Victim Support Services

Reports to: Shelter Program Manager

Start Date: Immediately

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Shelter Program Manager, this position provides advocacy services at the Family Violence Shelter to assist clients and their children who are victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking.  This covers children who are victims of secondary traumatization in addition to primary victims of abuse. The focus is to provide collaboration between Victim Support Services and Department of Children’s Services to enhance relationship and understanding of each party’s role—ultimately enhancing services provided to children and outcomes in both systems.   This position will be co-located at PFCA VSS and DCS Offices.

Education / Experience: BA in Social Work required, MSW preferred.  Minimum of 4 years’ experience with victimized populations, specifically domestic violence.

Salary:  Non-Exempt, Grade 160, $17.95/hour

Position: Client Services Coordinator – Part Time - 25 hours/week

Reports to: Director of Deaf Services

Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director, the Client Services Coordinator will provide to the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing the services as outlined in the “scope of services” of the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services grant contract (as defined in the Key Performance Measures below). This is a part-time position with not to exceed 25 hours per week.

Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree from accredited college preferred. Social work or social services concentration preferred.  Two years successful experience in a similar professional environment desired.

Additional Requirements: May require travel within the work day.  Valid driver’s licenses and ability to travel with your own transportation is required. Overall knowledge and understanding of the Deaf, Deaf-Blind and Hard of Hearing, and their needs.
Sign fluently in ASL (American Sign Language). In order to best service the needs of our Deaf Services clients, applicants who are deaf or hard of hearing are preferred.

Salary:  Grade 160, Range, commiserate with knowledge, skills and abilities - $ 13.00 - $15.00/hour, 25 hour week
